It’s kind of like a skip-the-line pass, except sometimes you’ll have a short wait when the park is extra busy.

Purchasing a Hollywood Studios Lightning Lane Multi Pass is quite easy.

- Select the date that you’d like to purchase the Multi Pass for.
- Next, choose Hollywood Studios and select Multi Pass.
- Select your top 3 attractions and a time slot for each.

How much does it cost?
According to Thrill Data, expect to pay $20-35 per person, per day for a Hollywood Studios Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Disney uses dynamic pricing with multiple factors, such as crowds, playing into what the price will be for each day. This also means that you might see higher or lower prices in the future.
Multi Pass attractions at Hollywood Studios
Like other high-demand parks, Hollywood Studios Lightning Lane Multi Pass utilizes a 2-tier system for selecting attractions.
When buying a pass for this park, you can select one Tier 1 attraction and two Tier 2 attractions.
Tier 1 (choose 1)

- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
- Rock n Roller Coaster
- Slinky Dog Dash
NOTE: While super popular, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is only available as a Lightning Lane Single Pass instead of via the Multi Pass.

- Beauty & the Beast Live on Stage
- For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing Along Experience
- Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
- The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure (available starting 9/11)

Hollywood Studios Lightning Lane Multi Pass strategies & tips
With a little bit of advanced planning and strategy, you can get the most out of the Multi Pass. Here are my top strategies and tips:
Tips for groups

For parks that use a tiered selection system like Hollywood Studios, I recommend querying your group to vote on which Tier 1 ride is most important. There are a few things to keep in mind, though:
First, Rock n Roller Coaster is expected to remain open through the end of the year, but expected to close around then or shortly into 2026 for a complete re-theme from Aerosmith to The Muppets. As we get closer to the closing date, I expect wait times to increase for this ride, giving it more weight when it comes to priority.
Second, if you have Star Wars fans in your group, they will undoubtly select Smuggler’s Run as their top pick.
Wait times for this attraction are reasonable compared to the others, in my opinion, unless you’re visiting during peak travel times. In addition, this ride will be updated with new scenes starting May 22, 2026, which will definitely increase wait times again.
Tips for solo guests
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Rock n Roller Coaster all have dedicated single rider lines, so you’re better off selecting Slinky Dog Dash or Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway as your first Tier 1 attraction.
Tier 2 selections

When it comes to your tier 2 selections, whether you’re visiting solo or with others, my recommendation is the same: Tower of Terror and Toy Story Mania are your best options.
That said, if you’re there more so for the shows, pick your top 2 interests. For these, you’ll get access to better seating without needing to arrive too far in advance.
The rest of the attractions, including the new show, The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, have minimal wait times, so I recommend placing them lower on your priority list.
You can edit your selections and times

If you weren’t able to get the attractions or time slots you wanted, there is hope! You can easily edit your time slots and even attraction selections via the app.
As people change their plans throughout the day, new times or attractions might become available.
In addition, sometimes Disney will add new time slots for attractions part way through the day. It’s not a guarantee, but it’s always worth checking!
Don’t forget your PhotoPass downloads
The Lightning Lane Multi Pass comes with free downloads of photos from Multi Pass attractions that have ride photos. So be sure to pop into the app to grab your downloads before they expire!
Is Lightning Lane Multi Pass worth it for Hollywood Studios?
With so many star attractions at Hollywood Studios, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is absolutely worth the added cost.
A well-planned Lightning Lane strategy can turn a hectic, crowded theme park day into a magical experience filled with less waiting and more time for character meet-and-greets, people watching, and all the tasty snacks.
Now, go start planning your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. See you in the Lightning Lane queue with a Black Caf Cold Brew in hand!
