If Disney World’s Multi Pass or Single Pass seem limiting to you, then the Lightning Lane Premier Pass is probably a better fit.
But what is it? How much does it cost? Which rides does it include? Get the answers to all these questions and more in this comprehensive guide to Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Disney World.
What is the Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Disney World?

Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the ultimate skip-the-line pass at Disney World.
Premier Pass gives access to all rides, including those that are in the Lightning Lane Single Pass service, with a lightning lane one time at a single park without the need to reserve a time slot.
In addition, you get free downloads of any ride photos available, as well as PhotoPass lenses, which are like Snapchat or TikTok filters, available on the My Disney Experience app.
It’s like Multi Pass but without the added stress of scheduling your time and constantly refreshing the My Disney Experience app for new picks.
How does Premier Pass work?

First, if you’re an annual passholder, you’ll need to make a reservation at the park you want to buy a Premier Pass for, unless it’s a designated “Good to Go” day.
If you are staying at a Disney resort, Shades of Green, or the Dolphin, Swan and Swan Reserve resorts, you can purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass 7 days ahead of your check-in day. You can purchase passes for each day of your visit for up to 14 days.
If you are not staying at one of the resorts listed above, you can purchase the Premier pass 3 days ahead of your first park day.
If you have a date-based ticket, you can buy passes within the valid dates of your ticket. Otherwise you have to purchase the pass 3 days ahead of the day you plan to visit for each day you’d like a pass.
Once you purchase your Premier Pass, all you have to do is visit the park and tap into the Lightning Lane for each attraction you’d like to experience. There’s no need to choose a time slot, unlike the Multi Pass.
Which rides can you access with a Premier Pass?
In short, if a ride has a lightning lane, you can access it with a Premier Pass – including rides that typically require a single pass if you don’t want to wait in line.

Is Lighting Lane Premier Pass worth it?
The jury is still out on whether this pass is worth it. In my opinion, if you can afford it, you’re visiting during a busy season, and don’t get to visit often, then it is worth it.
But for frequent visitors or if you’re visiting during a quieter season, then it’s not worth the hefty price tag in my opinion.
